Description
Can one man with the help of God turn a vision into reality? Nehemiah did. The walls of Jerusalem arose from rubble. A wayward people were brought together as a worshipping community. But the book of Nehemiah is not simply history. It challenges and encourages us all, whether leaders or church members, to face the issues and problems confronting our churches today. It offers us timeless principles and insights to be followed, if we are to see many of our churches rise from potential ruin to God-inspired restoration.

COMMENDATION
‘If you are looking for a book on Nehemiah that is biblically grounded, culturally relevant and practically applied, then this could be the one for you. This is for preachers who want to move faithfully from text to message and for those called to navigate the challenges of leadership.'
Peter Baker, Senior Pastor, Lansdowne Church, Bournemouth.
‘This is more than a book about Nehemiah. It is how God accomplishes his purpose through his people. Biblical, practical, this book will motivate us to ask God to raise up a new generation of leaders like Nehemiah. It might even be the means God burdens us to be those leaders.'
Tim Gamston, Minister of Broadstone Baptist Church, Dorset
