Description
Have you ever felt wearied in your struggle against sin? You feel like a soldier constantly at war with the world, the flesh and the devil. If you do, you are in good company. Believers of whatever age, maturity or standing share the same struggle. We have a rich heritage of resources that deal
with this very problem but not always accessible to the average, harassed, busy Christian. War and Peace traces the origin of this conflict from Genesis, when sin first appears, to Revelation’s
final victory in Christ and eternal peace. It considers the many weapons employed against us, such as temptation, doubt and despair, along with the Bible’s response through the grace of God, providing all we need for the fight. Taking a chapter a day, it can be read within a month, with opportunity
to explore more deeply the many subjects discussed.
This is a ‘must study’ for everyone concerned about the origins of sin and evil and how to fight. Despite dealing with the battle against sin and evil, it is not a negative book, but points the way to victory in a thoroughly biblical manner.
Dr John Temple, international businessman, Christian leader and author.
What a great resource Stuart Fisher has given us in the glorious and all-vital pursuit of holiness! Pastors will find it perfect to put in the hands of a new Christian to ground them in the faith, while also being a refreshing means of strengthening the hands of mature believers. It is essentially,
a twenty-eight-day ‘battle plan’ to equip us in our lifelong ‘holy war’ we wage to become more like Christ.
Mike Mellor Evangelist and Author
