Excellent for history with fun

I cannot believe there are not more reviews of these books. I have bought at least 3 sets. They are a good family type story and easy to read but have current relevsance as they cover the Nazi persecution and history of that time. I love them.

gripping

If you like a book that keeps wanting you to read on and, find out what happens next, then this story is for you. As the tale unfolds about the different evacuees and why they ended up on the slow train to Applebrook then at only 5-9 years of age, you are so gripped by the whole saga that you can’t put the book down.
